This Privacy Policy explains how SM Mobility LLC, doing business as 2Six Rent ("2Six Rent," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects personal information through the 2sixrent.com website. It doesn't cover information collected on paper or in person as part of the signed Rental Agreement at pickup — that's governed by the Rental Agreement itself (see its "Personal Information; Communications" clause).

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

• Account details: name, email, phone number, country, date of birth, and preferred language.
• Driver's license number, issuing country/state, and expiration date. Your license number is encrypted in our database.
• Identification documents you upload (driver's license or passport) — stored on private storage, never publicly accessible, and reviewed manually by our team (no automated scanning, OCR, or facial recognition).
• Your reservation requests and history.
• Anything you send us directly — WhatsApp messages, emails, or contact form submissions.

Information collected automatically:

• Cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies (session, security, language preference) are always on and keep the site working. With your consent — through the cookie banner shown on your first visit — we may also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use the site. No analytics cookie is set before you accept the banner, you can decline without affecting your ability to browse or book, and your choice is remembered for one year.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process and manage your reservation requests and account.
• To verify your eligibility to rent (age, valid license, identity).
• To communicate with you about your reservation, account, or support questions — by email or WhatsApp.
• To understand and improve how visitors use the site (only with your analytics consent).
• To meet our legal and insurance obligations as a licensed Florida rental company.

4. Document Verification

When you upload a driver's license or passport, a member of our team views it directly and marks it verified or rejected — there's no automated identity-verification service or facial recognition involved. Documents are stored on private storage that isn't publicly accessible.

5. Cookies and Analytics

See our cookie banner and the "Cookies" note on our Policies page for the categories of cookies we use. In short: essential cookies always run; Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel only run after you consent, and never before.

6. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the business: Amazon SES (sends account and reservation emails), Sentry (error monitoring, to keep the site running reliably), PandaDoc (generates and manages the e-signature Rental Agreement), and cloud storage providers for private document storage.
• Analytics providers (Google Analytics/Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) — only if you've consented to analytics cookies.
• Law enforcement or other parties, if required by law or necessary to enforce our rights under the Rental Agreement.
• WhatsApp, when you choose to contact us through it — subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and reservation information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and insurance record-keeping obligations. Identification documents are kept only as long as needed for verification and applicable legal requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information — including encrypting your driver's license number at rest and keeping identification documents off public storage. No online system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately for its sensitivity.

9. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for analytics cookies, by emailing contact@2sixrent.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. These rights are provided under applicable U.S. and Florida law.

10. Children's Privacy

This site isn't directed to children. You must be at least 21 to create an account or make a reservation, so we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. International Visitors

2Six Rent operates in the United States, and any information you provide is processed and stored in the United States, regardless of the country you're visiting from.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
